Argento has been carving himself the reputation of one of the most reliable producers of House & Progressive House in Greece, which has seen his growth boom onto the music scene in 2012, with releases in Kontor’s Interlabel, Wormland, d:vision and Strictly Rhythm’s Recharged Global. His establishment was quickly stemmed with collaborations and remixes with well-known producers, like Tom Novy, Jerry Ropero, Mike Newman, Ron Carroll, Dirty Secretz, Peter Brown and Jay C. At the same time, his productions and remixes received major support with airplays and feedbacks from top artists like Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Nari & Milani, Thomas Gold, Bob Sinclar, Prok & Fitch, Federico Scavo and lots more.
Through 2015, Argento has provided “Acid Man” through Blackhole’s NY-based label Redoubt Records, a track that was premiered by Max Vangeli at his radio show and then supported by Roul and Doors, Ivan Gough and more. After his remix duty for Consoul Trainin’s “Night Angel” for LoveStyle Records, his latest work “Twisted” was released by Ferry Corsten’s Flashover Recordings and it was remarkably supported by Showtek, Afrojack, David Guetta, Ummet Ozcan, Swanky Tunes and other respected DJs of the global scene. This route has led Argento under the roof of FP Artists, the Italian management that is also home of Michael Calfan, Lost Frequencies, Klingande, Gregor Salto, Jetfire and other respected artists.
More than just a provider of productions, Argento is as prominent behind the decks as he is in studio. Having already supported the likes of Hardwell, Afrojack and Avicii at Paradise Club (Mykonos) and being resident/guest at the biggest clubs and radio stations in Athens, his weekly radio show “Argento On Air” that broadcasts on Traffic FM 91,6 is already running it’s forth year live, having hosted so far guest mixes by artists like Max Vangeli, Tom Staar, David Penn, EDX, Tocadisco, Rene Amesz and more.
2015 is a year of changes for Argento. He is now under the roof of Italian management “FP Artists”, home of Lost Frequencies, Michael Calfan, Gregor Salto, Klingande and more. With lots of new projects on the way, the future is promising.
